The Valcastello mansion has 8 stately suites spread over three floors. The suites range in size from 50 to 100sq.metres (538–1076 sq.foot) and feature spacious beds and separate living room areas bestowing wonderful alpine views. All suites have spacious en-suite bathrooms. Other state-of-the-art facilities include LCD TV screens and Wi-Fi. All suites have extra beds for children, while annexed rooms for nannies may also be arranged.
Valcastello’s location and laidback pace makes it a wonderful base for a sporty group of friends, two or three families staying together, couples, or a small party of international delegates wanting to entertain in stunning alpine surroundings. Valcastello offers your party of esteemed guests the opportunity to hike, ski, play golf, tennis or golf before relaxing in the faded grandeur of the chateau’s ‘Club House’ surroundings, where a team of dedicated staff will tailor dining, banqueting, entertainment and events to your group’s requirements.
Sports and activities that may be enjoyed within the grounds of Valcastello include polo (summer), snow polo (winter), tennis, horseriding and cross-country skiing. We are also delighted to help organize any other sports or activities outside the Valcastello estate. With Valcastello as a convenient base, your party can ski within a truly stunning UNESCO natural World Heritage site: The 9 gigantic photogenic peaks that comprise The Dolomites have been described as “the most spectacular mountains in the world".
Valcastello Polo Club is the only resort in the Italian Alps where polo-playing members and other guests may play snow polo throughout the winter. Snow polo in the area started in 1989 on Lake Landro. The industry-leading Battros-managed grass/snow arena is open all year round for friendly chukkas to professional tournaments, including ‘Snow Polo’ in the winter months. Corporate tournaments of varying types and levels of play may also be organized, from fun friendly chukkas to more serious practice chukkas for advanced players.
